So lately there has been a lot of talk about violent crimes, and the relationship said crimes have with video games.
I don’t want to entertain the black magic voodoo that Washington, and the NRA are fabricating to shit on the video game industry. Any intelligent human being with a relative awareness of current events know this is just a distraction tactic.
Instead. I want to talk about the one thing i do think is a problem with video games.
Gamer-Rage, aka Nerd-Rage.
I want to talk about this because I have been a sufferer of said rage since i was a child.
Even in the days of days of Duck Hunter. That dog was a huge prick for laughing at me.
For the most part this rage was harmless. Until i returned home from Iraq.
You see, i didn’t return from Iraq quite the same (Who would have thought..).
After returning home i would rage over anything, and everything without any sort of build up.
One minute i was fine, the next i was at full blown Super Sayian, Broly style.
In time to began to turn into violence, impulsive uncontrolled violence. Nothing towards anyone usually inanimate objects, Televisions, desk chairs, keyboards were usually victims of my rage. However according to my PTSD therapist, it would be only a matter of time til these displays of threatening behavior turned into violence upon another person.
So to combat that possibility I took up 2; hobbies to help cope with my emotional conditions.
Weight Lifting, and Mixed Martial Arts.
They worked wonders. If you suffer from gamer rage, i recommend looking into a rage release activity like MMA or the gym. However if you can not afford it, do what i do when i’m broke.
If you like playing Call of Duty, then at the end of every map — look at your total deaths, do 10 push ups for every death you have.
Apply this same logic to any game. Turn game milestones into an excuse to do some exercise. If you are playing an MMORPG, every time you level up, do that number of push-ups – If you just hit level 50, do 50 push-ups. In time you will either be in great shape or Ranked #1 in the world. Either way, it’s a healthy method to combat gamer rage.
Now to my morbid curiosity, I began to wonder… how many times did someone lash out due to gamer rage, and commit violence, or just an act of stupidity.
Most of us find the rage amusing when someone goes off on a verbal tantrum. However sometimes those tantrums end in tragedy.

The classic, and nostalgic MMORPG Lineage 2 also has blood on it’s hands. Lineage 2 is known for it’s innovative (At the time) PvP system, where any player can be killed by other at any time. Cases 9, and 10
We have all heard the threats of real life violence over video games, nobody takes them serious. Except in this case one such man delivered on the threat. — After being stabbed, and provoked (trolled) by another player on the FPS Counter-Strike. A man tracked down the player, and stabbed him in real life. One must wonder if a real life tea-bagging was to follow?

Saving what is the most vile for the last. A man was arrested for once again beating a female infant child who’s crying was interfering with his Xbox gaming. The horrendous reports state the child was so badly beaten, and suffered internal injuries so severe, that emergency workers had mistakenly believed that child has been hit by a car.
