The Walt Disney World® Resort will be releasing 2014 package pricing on July 10, 2013. With this new information, many potential Disney vacation guests will be making the decision between staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel and staying at another hotel in the Orlando area. Though the decision may seem easy for the budget-conscious guest, the advantages of staying at the Walt Disney World® Resort often go beyond simple dollars and cents. When comparing the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, some guests may rethink that idea of an easy decision.
Guests who stay at the Walt Disney World® Resort may take advantage of several benefits offered exclusively to guests of the Resort. These benefits include: extended park hours, a vast transportation system, significant savings on dining, and many advantages of an all-inclusive vacation. When added to the unique Disney magic and superior service, many guests choose to return as guests of the Walt Disney World® Resort year after year.

Magical Express service
Guests flying in and/or out of the Orlando airport have the option to take Disney’s Magical Express service to/from the airport. This service must be reserved in advance and is available at no additional charge.
Guests put special luggage tags on their bags before leaving home, and Disney collects the luggage at the airport and delivers it to the hotel room. Guests ride a comfortable motor coach to their Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, complete with Disney video entertainment.
Resort transportation system
Guests at the Walt Disney World® Resort may use all of the Disney transportation available. This includes the monorail system between the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and 3 Resort hotels. In addition, there are Disney buses to transport guests anywhere on the Walt Disney World® Resort property. Boat transportation is also available between certain Resort hotels, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Downtown Disney area.
Extra Magic Hours
Extended theme park hours are available only to guests staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel. On most days of the week, one theme park will be open one hour early and/or a different theme park will be open up to three hours later than regular park hours. This allows Resort hotel guests to enjoy the park with smaller crowds.
Disney Dining Plan
Guests who purchase a Walt Disney World® Resort vacation package including hotel and tickets may also purchase the Disney Dining Plan. There are several plans available, and these plans allow guests to prepay for their meals, and save money on the list price of the food. In addition, guests have the convenience of simply using their Key To The World Card or MagicBand (coming soon) to easily use the credit for all of their meals.
Guests staying at the Walt Disney World® Resort may group all of their reservations. This allows guests to easily organize confirmation numbers for dining, shows, and special events. In addition, the Walt Disney World® Resort can monitor special needs such as wheelchairs or allergies. This allows guests many advantages of an all-inclusive vacation.
Guests of the Walt Disney World® Resort have the option to have any purchase made at any Resort retailer delivered to their hotel free of charge. This allows guests to enjoy the Resort without needing to manage several heavy bags of merchandise.
Rooms at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels have all of the magic of the theme parks! Guests can stay in Pirate Rooms or Royal Guests Rooms. They can choose to be part of an island atmosphere or camp in the great outdoors.
