The Unofficial Fantasica wiki has confirmed the beginning of a new event in the game Fantasica. That event is called the “Doomsday Tower,” and the event began on June 28, 2013. The event is split into three stages: the Prelude (from June 28 to July 2 at 2:00 AM), the Bloodletting (from July 2 to July 5 at 2:00 AM) and The End (from July 5 to July 10 at 2:00 AM). The differences between these three stages are currently unknown.
Doomsday Tower is a Training type event. In this type of event, players will encounter various bosses during the Training mode in the game. These bosses, when defeated, will give the player BT points and Night Gems. The BT points determine the player’s rank, and they will receive rewards based on their rank at the end of the event (see below). The Night Gems will unlock rewards during the event itself. Once the player receives enough Night Gems, they will unlock the ability to redeem the reward (see below for the available rewards). When bosses are encountered, the player will be able to use one of their own units and 3 of their ally’s units to defeat the boss. The bosses are easy to defeat early on (except for certain ones), and the player should be able to defeat them with their own units easily. The bosses will level up each time they are defeated, and will eventually be quite difficult to defeat.
Unlike previous Training events, this one has three types of bosses. The normal bosses act like the ones described above. The second type of boss is the Revive Boss. These bosses are actually bosses from previous events. When encountered, their levels will be random. These bosses are relatively easy (depending on their level). Also, these bosses will award the player BT points or Night Gems, but not both. The final type of boss is a Limited Boss. These bosses are extremely difficult to defeat, and the player is given 3 hours to defeat them after they are first encountered. These bosses will require a lot of effort to defeat, so the player must be on their toes. These bosses are unique in that, if the player encounters one, all of their allies will have one added to their boss list. This also means that if a player’s ally encounters one, it will automatically be added to the player’s boss list.
Also unlike previous Training events, this event takes place in a unique training area. These training areas are long, but play exactly like the normal training areas. At the end of each training area, the player will encounter a boss like the normal training areas. These bosses, when defeated, will reward the player with items, which can include Light Spikes to assist allies with.
To receive aid from allies, the player must use the Request Assistance option in the event page. Afterwards, the player’s allies and a number of random players will receive the Assistance Request. If they respond, the player can then use that ally’s leader unit in battle against a boss. These units can only be used once per Assistance, so players will have to Request Assistance again to use their allies’ units again.
During this event, the player can encounter something known as Fever Time. During this time, the player will receive bonus BT points and Night Gems for any bosses defeated.
This event has two unique items: Demon Wards and Light Spikes. Demon Wards will allow the player to use five of their own units in a boss battle instead of one. Light Spikes can be used while assisting allies. These spikes will do a large amount of damage to the next boss that the ally encounters. The spikes will also give the player a large amount of BT points and Night Gems when used.
Several units can be used to help the player during this event. These units include the Light Walker units, new units awarded from Night Gems during the event, and the new units that were added in the newest Step Up Packs. The Light Walker units can be viewed here, and the Step Up Pack units can be viewed here. The Night Gem reward units are listed below.
There are many rewards that are available during this event. The first are the Night Gem rewards, which can be received during the event. These rewards include: titles, Potions, event items (see above), Time Elixirs, Goddess Units, and new Units (Jolt, a 4 Star unit, Kreuz, a 5 Star unit, and Magnus, a 6 Star unit).
The ranking rewards are split into two categories: Rank Rewards and Rookie Rank Rewards. It is unknown what determines which rank the player falls into however (it is likely that newer players are in the Rookie Ranks). The rank rewards include: monster units (which can be recruited), Large Soul Stones (to recruit said monsters), titles, and Potions. The rookie rank rewards include: unique units, titles, Premium Tickets, and Time Elixirs.
