ABC has released some “The Bachelorette” spoiler details for the big finale with Desiree Hartsock, but fans will see they didn’t give much away. The July 30 release sets the stage for the three-hour season finale, and fans are dying to know just how things end this season. What tidbits did the network share?
As fans saw Monday night, Brooks Forester essentially broke up with Desiree Hartsock and was last seen being driven away in a limo. Though there is a lot of speculation that Brooks returns, especially given “The Bachelorette” spoilers from Reality Steve about the ending, ABC doesn’t even hint at this happening. Granted that doesn’t mean he doesn’t return, but ABC clearly doesn’t want fans to know anything for certain.
The release says that Desiree will talk with Chris Harrison about whether she can continue on with her “journey,” and viewers have already seen tidbits of this in previews. Then Desiree faces both Drew Kenney and Chris Siegfried to tell them Brooks left. ABC teases that it is “a moving confession,” and fans have seen some footage of Desiree and Drew talking in prior “The Bachelorette” spoiler previews. Will Drew Kenney stick around, or will this talk be the beginning of the end for Drew as well?
ABC teases that “The final days of Desiree’s journey are filled with questions.” They aren’t dishing at all about who, if anyone, meets her family, though her family is in Antigua. The finale will show Hartsock considering “if the love she has always wanted is right in front of her,” or whether losing Brooks “will crush her dreams of finding a soul mate.”
So far there have been no screencaps of a final rose ceremony, though many “The Bachelorette” spoiler fans have put pieces together indicating there is one. In addition, spoilers have come from multiple sources seemingly detailing that Desiree Hartsock is engaged and happy, though she herself hasn’t confirmed anything.
No matter what happens on “The Bachelorette” finale, it is going to keep viewers on the edges of their seats. Many “Bachelor Nation” fans were crushed watching Desiree Hartsock get dumped by Brooks Forester, and it is hard to imagine any scenario going forward that doesn’t come with some inherent issues. Is Desiree able to work through it all to find happiness?
There will be a live “After the Final Rose” special airing as well Monday night, and clearly viewers will be anxious to see it. The big finale of ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2013” with Desiree Hartsock airs Monday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
