Amanda Bynes is back this week, hurling offensive insults at former friends via her Twitter account, reported Hollywood Life on Friday.
Apparently former ‘N SYNC boy band member and Bynes friend Lance Bass said on the Mark and Mercedes radio show in Las Vegas on Wednesday, that he believed Amanda Bynes was suffering from a mental illness and he thinks she’s likely in denial.
Bass went onto to say, “No one is able to get to her. I’m actually really scared for her, and I hope someone is able to get to her to give her the help she needs.”
Bynes shot back late on Thursday, Tweeting to over 1.5 million fans, “I ignored Lance Bass on twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you’re an ugly ex boy band member w/ no talent or career.”
Amanda followed up her Lance Bass bashing an hour later with another hateful tweet that read, “I haven’t spoken to Lance Bass in 11 years. To say I have a mental illness out of nowhere makes me lash out! You’re making me crazy!”
Bass was apparently so taken aback with Bynes’ response, he questioned if the Twitter account referenced was really Bynes or a fake. Although the media and fans believe Bynes to be behind the Twitter handle @AmandaBynes, the handle has never been officially confirmed by Twitter.
Bass responded Friday morning, tweeting, “Ouch- The Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me- either this is a fake person or she really does have a mental illness. Way too sad. I reached out- all i can do.”
Bass continued his skepticism, pointing out that Bynes was at his birthday party three years ago, suggesting her time frame didn’t make sense.
“Now I really don’t think this is Amanda- we shot LoveWrecked together 7 years ago and she was just at my bday party 3 years ago. Hmmm 11?,” tweeted Bass.
