The month of July was proclaimed National Blueberry Month by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2003 to “promote greater appreciation and use” of blueberries. There is little information to be found on a particular day within the month except for July 11, which is dedicated to the blueberry muffin.
In July, blueberries are in their peak season and abundantly thriving. Avenue restaurant’s mixologist has stirred up a new way to indulge in this great summer healthy fruit with a fun cocktail, Le Blue Fairy. This cocktail combines the tasty seasonal blueberries with Stoli Blueberi Vodka and offers an unexpected twist – a floater of Absinthe to really give it that special kick! It is the perfect libation to savor while celebrating Fourth of July festivities.
Le Blue Fairy
- 1 ½ oz. Stoli Blueberi
