In the year 2010, the Animal Crush Video Prohibition Act was signed by President Barrack Obama. This law made it illegal to create, sale or market any crush videos in the USA, they were officially designated as obscene.
This was a welcomed victory and it appeared Crush Videos in the USA were now defined as a criminal act. This has proven not to be the situation. In August of 2012 Ashley Nicole Richards, 22, and Brent Justice, 51 were arrested and charges filed against them pursuant to the violation of the 2010 The Animal Crush Video Prohibition Act.
In April 2012 “U.S. District Judge Sim Lake, in an opinion this week, tossed out charges against a Houston, Texas couple who were accused of violating the federal “animal crush video” statute. The judge ruled that torturing animals and filming their painful deaths is an activity that is protected under the U.S. Constitution.” http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/04/judge-claims-animal-snuff-films-protec…
With this decision the judge was referencing the couples’ right to freedom of speech. But was there more behind his ruling than the constitutional rights of these two monstrous animal crushers?
Judge Lake wrote the statute could prohibit activities that did not qualify as animal cruelty — such as a depiction of “the humane slaughter of a stolen cow.” http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/04/judge-claims-animal-snuff-films-protec…
What occurred here is a travesty of justice. It is a morbid reminder that we live in a country where animals are considered to be mere commodities. Whose interests are really going to be protected with this ruling in Texas?
Much of our economy is based upon violence to animals. Those profiting from the use of creatures for profits have a type grip on their wallets and businesses. The law criminalizing crush videos could open the door to further litigation in which the perimeter of laws concerning an animals’ rights or treatment could be extended to include animal based industries, such as the cattle raised in Texas. Is this Texas judge really concerned about freedom of speech or is he biased and perhaps hoping to prevent future laws and litigation against the USDA and the huge meat/leather industry?
Obviously crush videos are the works of psychopaths and a blight on society’s moral fibers, they must remain illegal. The torture and killing of animals to satisfy this sexual fetish is morally wrong. The reality is these are acts of violence, double talk and twisting words into innuendos can’t change the facts. To label these videos as free speech is unacceptable and we can’t accept this delusional decision.
The world we live in today is very different from our ancestors. While we supposedly progressed as a species, some humans have morphed into demented peoples. Shamefully the abuse and use of animals as products, not sentient beings, has reached new perversions notedly exposed within this abhorrent crush video industry.
This is a depraved and insidious industry in which woman are filmed crushing defenseless animals to death for entertainment. The legality and the marketing of videos which glorify these murderous acts has caused a great deal of outrage among animal rights activist globally for many years.
Crushers participating in this activity, defined as a sexual fetish, have been using the Internet for numerous years to promote themselves. They have sought to garnish a huge following and large profits through underground networking. In the mid 1990s many pay to view crush websites had been created and perverse peek-a-boo photos were blatantly displayed to give the consumer a preview of what they might hope to purchase.
Crush videos are divided into two separate categories, they are small and large crushers. Small crushers’ videos involve the killings of small animals, mice, rats, hamsters, chipmunks and gerbils. The large crushers kill the kittens, cats, puppies, small dogs, rabbits and other creatures equal in size. They have a highly complex and sophisticated network and are truly the underbelly of the crush society subculture.
Large crushers have become so depraved they not only crush animals, but include in their sick efforts other animals cruelties, such as bondage, cutting, skinning alive, burning and boiling. Many work underground and in the USA they are located in such cities as Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles. These are well organized cells and their contacts with small crusher is minimal with an occasional contact being made between the two for promotional favors.
The women involved in crush videos express great gratification watching their victims writhe in pain and cry out in agony under their massive feet. They especially loved grinding their high heel stilettos into the animals bodies. They feel extremely exhilarated when the animal is dead and enjoy kicking around their pitiful remains. They are usually scantly dressed and have an array of shoes and boots to please the sexual appetites of the perverts buying their videos.
The depth of misery in this depraved and decadent industry can’t be emphasized enough. The perversion and loathsome acts are so contemptible and vile, it is intolerable to allow any judge to justify and excuse these acts. It is imperative we end this and the law that criminalize crush videos be respected.
In December of 2008 Marla Stormwolf Patty and co-founder, Anthony Damiano formed the organization, Stopcrush.org.http://www.stopcrush.org/
Going to their website you will read their objective” The main goal of Stopcrush.org is to facilitate a global means of generating no less than complete societal intolerance toward the entire sadistic, prurient animal crush interest”. http://www.stopcrush.org/?page_id=1752
Marla and Anthony are staunch and bold advocates for these animals. They aren’t backing down and their organization is totally on focus.
They stated firmly on Stopcrush.org.”Many individuals, not only those in the United States and not just animal activists, trumpeted their voice behind the effort to pass a law which labels the creation, sale, purchase, ownership or distribution of animal crush video a felony in the US. Together, we did so to generate more severe penalties for those who inflict said sadism against nonhuman animals. It was the main goal of the effort to see video/depiction of the sexualized torture and murder of animals placed into the same felony-bracket as child pornography.
United, we also did this to protect children in our society. Almost everyone has always understood this. A good number of individuals reading this fought for the effort and we know that they will be there, standing tall for the innocent, once again.
Recently, a United States District Judge named Sim Lake decided that animal crush video deserves the label of “free speech” once again, even after everyone’s hard work, their lobbying, their demands to the federal government to criminalize any dealings related to animal crush video, as felony. By throwing-out charges levied against the Texas couple arrested for violating the Animal Crush Video Prohibition Act of 2010, Judge Lake set an early stage for our expected battle to defend the law that we all fought so hard to enact” http://www.stopcrush.org/?p=1723
Currently Marla, Anthony and those working with them in their organization have hired an attorney to address this flawed decision by Judge Sim Lake. They are waiting for the ruling to be appealed as they seek to file a motion for permission to file an Amicus brief. You can join StopCrush.org on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/STOPCRUSH.ORG
This is our country and one Texas judge isn’t permitted to be a dictator. This is the situation, these are the facts, nonhuman animals aren’t permitted to be killed in crush videos, we have a law that defines these acts as illegal.
It is imperative that Judge Sim Lake’s ruling be overturned. His baseless ruling must be crushed, not the animals. Freedom of speech is our right and though we don’t talk with our feet, we will kick his decision to the curb.
