The United Way of Central Maryland is a very vital organization in Maryland. The UWCM does things to help Marylanders daily. The UWCM is a nonprofit organization and is supported by donations. There is a very unique opportunity to support UWCM, feast on delicious food and determine the winner in a beltway battle. A Taste of Two Cities Food Truck Festival will be held on Saturday June 1, 2013 beginning at noon. The cost is $5 for advance admission, $8 at the door and also adult packages which start at $20. The two cities pitted against one another are Baltimore, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In the NFL this is called the battle of the beltway. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to UWCM. If you are a UWCM community connector, you have an opportunity to win two VIF (Very Important Foodie) tickets to A Taste of Two Cities which is a $100 value. Two UWCM community connectors will win two VIF tickets. The two community connectors, who recruit the most community connectors by the end of this week, will win VIF tickets.
