Eggs are an important family staple, used to create good breakfasts, baked goods, and some meal entrees like meatloaf. Where does the versatile egg come from? They come from chickens, of course. Baltimore families have a chance to get to know them “up close and personal” at Cromwell Valley Park.
The Little Red Hen
On Saturday, July 6 from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., Cromwell Valley Park is offering The Little Red Hen and Friends at the Willow Grove Barn. This program is suitable for ages 4-8 with an adult. Cost is $2.00 for members and $4.00 for non-members. Preregistration is required as walk-ins are not allowed. Registration forms are available here.
Have your kids ever wondered about the chickens? Cromwell Valley Park will introduce you to chickens and how they live. You will meet Frazier, the red hen, and her friends. This is a great opportunity to interact with live chickens and join a chat about them.
