New details have been revealed in regards to the real-time environment changes for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox 720 title, “Battlefield 4.” According to a report by BF4 Central on May 29, a retail poster contains some information on the “Levoultion” feature, which will allow players to change the landscape in real-time. The interactive environments can also react to their movements. The aforementioned “Levoultion” feature of “Battlefield 4” is made possible with Frostbite 3, a new game engine made specifically for the PC platform as well as the PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems. The first-person shooter, which is currently in development at Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, is also expected to come out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 current-generation consoles.
