Goo.gl (by Google)
Any marketing professional knows that a short and sweet website URL brings higher success for internet traffic. Not only can you save space on limiting status updates like Twitter, but you can also track your clicks and where they come from. When a visitor uses a shortened URL, it refers them directly back to the original link. Bit.ly, and Goo.gl by Google, are my favorite ones to use, but there are many others. Both these are offered for free. |
Rapportive allows you to see a new panel on the right side of your emails with all your links to social media profiles of the person you receive an email from. You can add these people to your Circles, Friends List and Following or send a request all from your Gmail Account. Rapportive was purchased by Linkedin, but is still offered as a stand alone tool. This tool is free.
