With such a fast pace world around us it’s easy to fall into a vicious cycle of unhappiness that is backed by stress. 1. Remove the negativity:
Being around people who are constantly looking at the bad side of things or constantly listening to bad news can inadvertently be causing stress for yourself. Surrounding yourself with good news sheds light on the better things in your world and promotes that positivity you need to thrive on. Every day try to seek out good news about your community and look at the bright side of everything happening around you, even if it’s something small. Doing this can really decrease the pessimistic force and feeling that stress brings.
2. Find a way to relax:
Taking a hot bubble bath, indulging in your favorite snack, hanging around your best friends, watching your favorite movie or curling up for a nap are just some prime examples of things people do to relax. After a long day of work, school or an event it can be draining and to recharge requires some serious relaxation. Make a small list of the very things that help you relax and do them when you begin to really stress out. 3. Figure out what is stressing you out the most.
The only real way to remove stress or at least ease the stress is to figure out what is causing it. Is it people at work? Is it the ongoing assignments at school?
