Bucci’s (One Berea Commons, Berea, Ohio 44017) is an Italian staple in the Cleveland area. With a warm and inviting interior and a classic menu, there’s no reason not to give it a try.
The dinner menu consists of appetizers like tomato bruschetta ($7), stuffed hot peppers ($8) and French onion soup ($6). Straying from the typical house salad, there is also a list of unique salads to choose from like the sweet and spicy chicken salad (chicken in a sweet and spicy glaze, mixed greens, tomato, colby-jack and bleu cheese dressing; $11), spinach and goat cheese salad (fried goat cheese, red onion, bacon, baby spinach and basil vinaigrette; $12.50) and the strawberry salad (mixed greens, candied pecans, strawberries, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, goat cheese and celery seed dressing; $9.50). Moving on, there are some tasty sandwiches like the bucci burger ($8.50), chicken parmesan ($8.50) and the grilled chicken rustique ($8.50).
The pasta list, though classic, is delicious with spaghetti ($15), gnocchi ($17), cavatelli ($17), lasagna ($17) and ravioli ($16) to choose from. Bucci’s also serves some specialty entrees such as the marsala (chicken; $17, veal; $22), prime rib ($15; $22), seared salmon ($21), baked cod ($17), filet mignon ($24), chicken piccata ($17) and a grilled pork chop ($17; $24).
