A “bucket list” led to jail for two woman in Florida. Andrea Mobley and Jennifer Morrow had a list of things they had never done together, and it seems shoplifting was one of them. As Mail Online reported on May 31, the two went for their goal and now they have been charged with petty theft.
Mobley and Morrow were friends during childhood and recently reconnected. In their efforts to catch up, it seems they created a bucket list of things they wanted to do together. One of the items was to steal, it seems, so they hit up the nearby Walmart. Jennifer Morrow hid bathing suits in her purse while Andrea Mobley ate beef jerky as she walked through the store.
After Morrow hid the swimsuits the two tried to leave the store, but they were detained by police. The two women were arrested and were charged with petty theft. While Morrow, 38, said the plans to steal were mutual, Mobley disagrees. Andrea, 36, told reporters that it was all Jennifer’s idea and she is ashamed over it all. She said, “We were two stupid women doing something we never did before.”
While many people have lengthy lists of things they would like to try in their lifetime, it seems safe to say that a bucket list jail goal is probably not common. The women face misdemeanors for the Walmart theft, and it sounds as if at least one of women will be walking the straight-and-narrow going forward.
