Busch Gardens is in the midst of their first ever Food and Wine Festival. Delicious creations and spirited concoctions from Germany, France, England and even Scandinavia, Greece and Spain are on the menu. The Williamsburg park has also added some culinary events and demonstrations to the month-long event. Food and wine VIP tours, wine pairing classes and chef demonstrations are just a few of the fun foodie events that guests can attend.
Presented by Coca-Cola, the Chef’s Guests cooking event features acclaimed chef, food writer and cookbook author Virginia Willis. Virginia Willis’ written work has appeared in the Washington Post, Country Living and Taste of the South Magazine.
The Chef’s Guests event takes place on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. Ms. Willis will demonstrate the artistic side of her craft with a live cooking demonstration at Castle O-Sullivan in the Ireland area of the park. She will share tips and techniques, and most importantly, samples, from her extensive culinary background.
Chef Virginia Willis will also be doing live demonstrations at Il Teatro di San Marco on May 31-June 2 and June 15 and 16. Check the park map for show times.
