Thursday morning, a new update called Pearly White Plains for the Candy Crush Saga app was issued for the millions of people who play the game around the world. Candy Crush is currently the number one top grossing app on iTunes; the app is free but additional tools can be purchased if needed. Facebook friends can also send you extra lives and it doesn’t cost them anything.
The Candy Crush app is a fun game to play, but it can also be extremely frustrating to pass a level that you’ve played over 20 times. Each of the higher levels has an objective that you need to figure out before you can pass it. You may need to use certain candies together to break all of the jelly, or destroy the chocolate in the limited amount of plays you get for that level. Sometimes it takes numerous tries to figure out what the objective for that game is…and sometimes you can get an answer by Googling it. The addicting game includes various types of colorful candies, licorice and chocolate to entertain you along the way.
It is an addictive game and similar to Tetrus, but millions of people around the world are playing it. And if you decide to play it and you log into Facebook at the same time…you will see how many of your friends are also playing it and what level they are on.
King is the maker of Candy Crush Saga and they estimate that 66 million people play their game and their core market is women in their 30s. Facebook is responsible for 25 million people play Candy Crush, and the new television commercials should only help that market grow. The Chief Marketing Officer at King is Alex Dale and he said that the reason that the game is called a saga is because it never ends. They are constantly adding new levels and improving the game. Candy Crush Saga may go on forever.
