The Tennessee Lady Vols and the Florida Gators will play in the second game of the College World Series in Oklahoma City (Okla.) starting at 2:30 p.m. EDT. This marks the fourth time the teams have met this season. Florida won two of the three meetings between the teams this season and leads the all-time series 43-20.
Tennessee and Florida have never met in the NCAA Tournament, but have met nine times in the SEC Tournament. The Gators have won five of these nine matchups.
Tennessee (49-1016-6 SEC) finished second in the SEC in the regular season and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament. The Lady Vols defeated Alabama two-games-to none in the Knoxville Super Regional to punch its sixth ticket in the last nine years to the WCWS. The Lady Vols won game one 3-2 and then rallied from three runs down to take game two 5-3.
In the Super Regionals, Cheyanne Tarrango went 1-for-6 with two runs batted in and Hannah Akamine was 2-for-5 with one run scored and a run batted in. Ivy Renfroe won both Super Regional games, giving up one run in 7.1 innings of work.
Tennessee is hitting .336 on the season (fourth in the nation), averaging 6.95 runs a game (second) and has a 1.80 ERA (12th). The Lady Vols also has the 12th best fielding percentage (.974).

Chavanne, Gibson and Shipman were named to the 2013 NFCA Division I All-American first team, as announced by the NFCA on May 29.
Florida (57-7, 18-6 SEC) won the SEC regular season and SEC Tournament titles. The Gators are the number two national seed and defeated UAB in two games in the Gainesville Super Regional.
In the Super Regionals, Katie Medina, who stepped up to the plate in the middle of a 0-for-16 stretch, roped a line drive into shallow left field to give the Gators a 4-3 in game one. In the second game, second baseman Kelsey Stewart made a diving stop and threw the potential game-tying run out at home plate to preserve a 1-0 victory for the Gators.
The Gators average 6.59 runs a game (ninth in the nation), possess a 1.68 ERA (eighth), a .980 fielding percentage (third) and a .518 slugging percentage (14th).

Rogers and Haeger were tabbed NFCA Division I First Team All-Americans on May 29.
