The way one feels about the self can optimize or hinder personal growth as well as sabotage overall health and wellness. A positive self perception promotes a high self-esteem and their is one sure way to boost ones self-esteem.
The best self-esteem booster is being able to take care of ones self without depending on anyone other than the self to meet ones needs.
In the current world, working and/or being employed is vital for optimal mental health and wellness. One can work in their own business or someone else’ business to gain the benefits that taking care of ones self provides.
The balance in universal equilibrium that working provides places individuals within the cycle of universal energy in a positive way because the individual, through their work, constantly gives back that which the individual is taking from the sum, octet, the one and/or the whole.
All are connected with and to the Universe. It is important to maintain a balance so as not to attract negativity in our personal lives or worse, in our mind/thoughts.
As individuals take, subconsciously, the mind adds negative affirmations to the individuals thought process.
As individuals give, subconsciously, the mind adds positive affirmations to the individuals thought process.
If your life feels like a spiral of negativity, simply ask yourself how you are giving back to the whole. If you can picture yourself surviving by being on an island made of your favorite dish, let’s imagine a cookie for example as it closely resembles land structure, imagine existing on that island and surviving by eating off of that cookie daily without cultivating more “cookie land;”eventually, your mind will began to literally punish you for your failure to secure your future on the island. In contrast, if every time you take a bite out of your, “cookie island” you conjure up more mass of cookie dough and secure it to the island, your mind will began to reward you with positive thoughts about your future.
While the example above may seem quite frivolous, it should be reflected upon as an example for what we are doing or not doing to secure our future.
A previous article talked about “forever” and how things that cannot go on forever, will not go on forever. One should apply the philosophy of “forever” to their daily actions and reward their mind with the fruits that a positive mind rewards the soul/being with.
