A charismatic dropout, noble and an inspiration on the outside, a leader who is the guru of the Children of Israel, also a politician who knows how to get into people’s lives, and with the ability to lure even unsuspecting teenagers to a life of drugs, drinking and promiscuous sex within the church, among other things ~ The Reverend Jones and his primary use of the first major sign of a cult leader, “Heavy exploitation,” of the sheep and others, who very abused as a child prospective members came to strangely see the man as a father.
“One man’s cult is another man’s religion.” His band of entrusted followers he would claim he could move from the desert and as the second Christ, the leader of the cult as according to the wrongfully glorified members of the initially secretly Satan driven Charles Manson sect. A leader known as most classic cult leaders who preach one certain mission purpose over and over and over, and just like the followers of the Charles Manson cult believed, these also falsely believe that it is their sole responsibility to bloom as the desert flowers who must help God take over the world.
Both Jones and Manson share the one major and common trait of a cult leader, which is that of a lunatic madman who seems pleasant enough, yet rests as the buzzard waiting ever on the edge of a more anticipated violence. Only according to a man and his cult, a strict membership among the rank only by the flesh alone ~ These exhibit the power not of God, but only of the imagined words of the flesh of a man. And made ashes and dust forever, and while a physical bully, a supernaturally powerless group of men though they join together and form a cult few or four score years always in death by the hands of a government fall. As if a revelation biblical mandate, the God of the Bible some of these use for evil always turns on them and with eternal finality whether sooner or later. A dark seed of the same kidnapped Bible of many of their unbiblical disproportion, whether a word more twisted in nature, the documentary film illuminates one clever key which always helps one to discern a cult without fail every time. “No other human beings can stand in their way.” Until Federal Agents smoke many a hiding mountain of them out, who took many an innocent down before stopped forever.
The narration of the 2005 historical film documentation, Decoding The Past & The Dangerous Devotion of Cults, did not too much heavily expound on radical Mormon member Warren Jeffs for committing any violence, although he did seem to have a sick bent toward cruel physical beatings of members, his repeated private marriages to below age female children, and while none of this sanctified by the real God, proved a primary example of the way man tries to create a whole new world for himself under the express direction of his very own flesh, it seems as if the film did do an excellent job of gathering all of the majors and disbanding with the minors, the rapes of innocent children, and touching ever on the heinous theme of locking up the disobedient in garden sheds and other buildings ~ A practice both Jones and Jeff’s sadistic enjoyed as if joined at the hip. Welcome to cult week at the movies, wherein we will explore at least five different types of cults and perhaps more, with one common thread woven through a tapestry of many colors, which is that each cult ever formed attempts to form a religion as a basis of support, and who although they call themselves at times the faithful, strongly believe in the domination of others.
“Cult leaders use religion to commit heinous crimes,” and some cults make pologomy, while a highly damaging cult crime ~ Seem more practiced than another trait of a cult which is a group of those who force members to give them all of their money, and then cut them off from the civilized world as well. Girls found to have sex with men as old as their fathers, and like most underground cult children and wives, the men force them to live on isolated farm properties and like Branch Davidian Complexes, away from the protective and watchful eye of sanity.
Lynn, Indiana 1941 ~ A man abandoned as a boy, the classic background of a usually controlling future male personae, the cult leader as a man grew to love a form of his Apostolic Socialistic philosophy of church life. Although it seemed as if he were a good man, the formal years only found the man holding back his manic as if by will force. Fantasies of lust combined with an ever deeper greed pilot the way a cult leader uses even the word of God. This only partially explains the manic depression of the by now grown adult Reverend Jim Jones who began to take his congregation to 1960’s celebrations such as Woodstock and even went to San Francisco, and while some began to see a more offbeat and frightening side to him, still no one spoke up and said anything about the gathering darkness, a demise that would cost many their very lives at the hands of the man. And gathering young people from all of these called the people he would later dupe into drinking individual and fatal doses of poison kool-aid his sheep. It was even said that he had been to at least one hospital where he spoke of drinking the kool-aid beforehand.
Unfortunately, his satisfaction of the final eight of the nine criteria for a dangerous cult leader, the final mirth of this took the lives of his congregants, proving the last quality of a mentally-ill cult leader. The willful destruction of the others who opposed or questioned the function of his evil, seemed a difficult stew for Papa Jim, who the few survivors of his latter days called one of the most evil and deranged and violent of a man they had ever known, a sharp contrast from the previous days when it seemed everyone who knew him said he was the most kindest and loving man in the world. Perhaps it depended on the time of the day and which face they saw at a particular and given setting or situation.
Malignant lovers of self only, this type of religious leader loves to bring people down in a way that the person and others know they made clear. Jones even used drugs, had sex with members under cover, in addition to forcing some members to repeat sins over and over and over while at the same time subjected to heinous beatings for past sins committed. Jones loaded up buses of his people and began to take off for a quest of total control, and unveiled his soon prideful exhibit of what the worker of a head cult leader does best ~ Giving sedatives to rebellious members who referred to as those who failed the test, are labeled as bad people who ran away. However, in the end, those who ran through the jungle represented only around some ten who survived out of about nine-hundred.
Of course, the whole morph of the delusional preacher-leader drove him to sever the ties of those people he possessed as property from even close friends and direct family members. A severe sickness buried and often hidden until too late within the very marrow of the cult leader, the United States government has often had to gun down the innocent along with those aggressive cult members who looked like they would attack and kill any authority figure, and so the cult fought to prevent what they feared the most ~ The real truth about them getting out to the public. The cult was the direct result of the historical first time ever killing of a Congressman, Leo Jay Ryan who tried to rescue the converts of Jones only hours before many were held at gunpoint and forced to commit suicide against their will.
The icon of the greatest cult tragedy had people convinced for years that the whole bastion of horror and violence was leading up to a better quality of life for them. But the residue left behind by the maddening leader grew up plants for his followers that eventually flowered not into sheaves of wheat, but into their mass destruction. Other deceived beings who created even more deceived followers such as Shoko Assahara, a 1995 Japanese cult leader of the Aum Shirrikyo Cult, or Aum Supreme Truth experimented on sending poisonous gasses into trains as a borderline attempt to begin his takeover of the world.
Other remote outposts who cults still in existence today have followed the practices of include a 1950’s cult initiate who used the torment and torture of electro-shock to control the captives of one flourishing cult farm. These leaders inflicted great mental, spiritual, emotional and physical torment and torture upon possible dissenters as well as on the genitals of the children to prevent proper formation of the small, innocent beings whether both physically, and emotionally. The Schaffer Baptist Church leader who worshipped self-denial, conducted this malignancy as a type of what he had named holy cleansing, which also just happened to include heinous and scar-evoking beatings of children, which did not cease even after the Santiago, Chili takeover by a native dictator there. The farm preacher insisted that women as the sole proprietor of fallen man due to the Genesis Bible story of Eve and the apple that women must ever be punished for sin. Women were persecuted on the work farm with increase, and hungry for rescue since the cult leader even denied married men and women sexual relations. Therefore a denial of all child bearing for the society, it seemed that soon the cult would fail from the inability to produce children and that the people might then be set free. Instead, the two evil spirits of the new Chilean dictator and Schaeffer seemed to find each other as if by proxy of demonology, and the hook-up then produced an even greater number of torturing the innocent to death. Thus, providing a better cover-up for both of them and the perpetrated increase of their evil crimes upon the captured, the prisoners than ever before, and the two now propounded together, “Anything is possible in a group.”
And despite the large farm and commercial food unit and hospital with glaring representation and huge profits ~ Based on slave labor, “Work, work, work all for God,” they told the dumbed down captives, “All for something beautiful,” they added boldface lying, knowing they were only using such an ones for their own profit. What one individual who lived alive to later tell the tale after the destruction of the heinous, said made all of the sense in the world. A sign which said, “Work makes you free,” hung over the doorway of this so-called Christian farm compound, the same sign which once hung on the gates of wartime concentration camps for innocent Jewish prisoners at a prior German work farm. The man who survived the cult also stated that he and other members were foolish and should not have tried to cover up their post-destruction deeds as cult members.
