Not enough praise is heaped upon those progressives fighting in the trenches for the little people. These defenders of social justice, who work tirelessly to correct the wrongs of the past. Doing their best to support unpopular and even unworkable ideas in the name of change. As the American people teeter on the verge of poverty which everyone knows was caused by Bush these unsung heroes are working to level the playing field for liberals everywhere.
Let us examine three of these progressives and the courage they have shown in spite of adversity. Each of these individuals profiled are typical representations of the Democratic Party as they strive to change the world into their image of fairness.
Starting at the top, we have Anthony Weiner former assemblyman from Queens. Now a Democratic candidate for Mayor of New York City. Anthony in spite of his pun prone last name showed his resolve in his very first primary by distributing flyers connecting his opponent to Jessie “Hymietown” Jackson in his primarily Jewish district. (http://www.salon.com/2011/06/07/anthony_weiner_1991/). When he moved up to assemblyman he worked on what he knew best and sponsored a bill to stop discrimination of young fashion models by working to increase O-Visas. Weiner then showed the fortitude to allow Bill Clinton to marry him to a Muslim at a million dollar wedding and then not reporting any wedding gifts to the American people as required by law. (http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/29/weiner-didnt-declare-costs-for-lavish-2010-wedding-to-long-suffering-wife/) In the middle of all this Weiner didn’t forget his constituents by texting them regularly with intimate snaps of him hard at work. Even getting caught did not stop our dedicated public servant from keeping in contact with his supporters even those too young to vote. He even asked their opinion of the puff piece the New York Times did on his redemption and road to mayor. Next we profile Huma Abedin (Formally known as Mrs. Weiner) and her steely resolve to hold onto unelected power while hitched to a falling star. From her earliest days in college Huma saw her opportunity to unelected power and fame in Hillary Clinton. Like a pilot fish she attached herself first as an intern and then as Deputy Chief of staff for Hillary. As a practicing Muslim she showed determination by allowing Hillary’s husband to join her with a practicing Jew. She did not let a little Weiner stop her climb by arranging a special maternity benefit on outside income only available to those on Hillary’s staff. It goes to show you don’t have to be elected to cash in on the work for the little people.
Lastly we profile Sidney Elaine Leathers, one of the little people the Democratic Party works so hard for. She dropped out of High School when she thought she saw gold in the hills of Democratic Hope and Change. Since intelligence was not high on the list of job requirements she was easily accepted into Obama’s organizing for America (OFA). When Sidney realized that advocating for the downtrodden pays better than actually being one she changed her goals. Using her internet brothel she cast her net among the Democrats and hooked a live one. Weiner who is not running on a good judgment platform responded to her lure. With promises of a Chicago love nest and a writers job at Politico (another job without an intelligence requirement?)Sidney was sure of the big time. When the story broke she had to change her goals once again and sell her story. The courage and perseverance she showed to enter the one percent in power could be an inspiration to all Democrats.
All three profiled highlight the current state of the Democratic Party. Not content with debasing their voters and selling their morals to the highest bidder they grapple over one another to get to the top of the heap. While they campaign for the poor from the back of a limousine and make sure unemployment is down in their circles the hapless citizen watches their taxes skyrocket to support the excesses promised. The administration of Caligula had nothing over these workers for the downtrodden.
