Last night, usedview.com was invited to Rebecca Minkoff’s celebration of her Denim Pop Up Shop. Notables in attendance included Coco Rocha, Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller, DJ Kiss and Uri Minkoff. Designer Rebecca Minkoff celebrated the launch of her new denim collection and soho denim pop up shop with a “demolition party” at her soon to be NYC Flagship retail space at 96 Greene Street. Guests enjoyed a live graffiti artist, pizza, and drinks provided by Svedka and the Bronx Brewery. DJ Kiss provided music as guests danced the night away and even got in on the graffiti action themselves.
The collection, which marks an exciting and charitable new venture for Minkoff, is partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. With each purchase from the collection, a donation will be triggered to No Kid Hungry, which can connect a child in need with up to 20 meals, such as school breakfasts and summer meals. The designer’s new category consists of five denim styles (a boyfriend, two skinnies, and two shorts) and two t-shirt styles in a Supima cotton and modal blend, which range in price from $48 to $128. The denim comes in five color ways (medium blue wash, white wash, gray, blue and bandana print) and lends homage to her signature playful and subtly edgy designs. All the styles are named after streets of New York City: Jane Skinny Jean, Bleecker Skinny Jean, Mercer Boyfriend Jean, Perry Short, and Crosby Short.
The Rebecca Minkoff Denim Pop-Up in the brand’s soon-to-be New York flagship at 96 Greene Street will run from June 27 through July 9. The store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

To kick off the “Style, Uncapped” launch guest were invited to the gorgeous rooftop of The Standard Hotel and treated to hand crafted summer beverages and tasty hors d’oeuvre. Followed by a presentation and raffle of two beautiful Minkoff purses.
Rebecca who created her own cap, that will be available for purchase and was inspired by her latest collection, came around and helped guest design our very own caps and explained why the idea would make excellent wedding or baby shower gifts! I agree, the personalized idea is great and was actually a lot of fun to create. An excited Minkoff who complemented my look and lip color and who is clearly someone who knows quite a bit about accessorizing, spoke to me about her choice to work with Nivea, “It was a no brainer, I’m thrilled to partner with the Nivea Brand, I love and appreciate how they’re encouraging self-expression.”
Through StyleUncapped.com customers will be able to personalize and create as many caps as they’d like to buy and share with friends. What I love most about the campaign is that you choose which chap stick you want and your personalized caps will be shipped to you directly! The campaign kicks off today Thursday, June 27th!
Get creative and start designing your very own today!
