“The Bachelorette Episode 901″ premiered last night, Monday, May 27, with Sean Lowe’s cast off, Desiree Hartsock as the latest single looking for love. Desiree won over “The Bachelor” fans with her beauty and sweet girl persona becoming a fast favorite to win Sean Lowe’s heart, however her brother’s attitude turned off “The Bachelor” causing Hartsock to become the next female on a mission on ABC’s hit dating reality show.
Desiree Hartsock began her fairytale journey with “The Bachelorette” host Chris Harrison welcoming her to a stunning California view of a cliff-side Malibu estate icing the cake when he handed her keys to an aqua blue Bentley convertible. From small town dreams to finding her Prince Charming, Desiree has recovered from her Sean Lowe heartache and is looking forward to weeding out the men from the boys.
As “The Bachelorette” prepped to meet her men, multiple clips showed Desiree welling up, becoming teary eyed over her past and future. Is this an omen of what the show has in store for this season, a whiny tissue-fest?
Dressed in a clingy metallic silver stunner, the 27-year-old bridal stylist from Colorado met 25 of America’s handsome hopefuls and most eligible bachelors, wishing to find her husband.
Hysterical standouts from the 25 characters included Brad who gave her a wishbone, Kasey, a social media expert who provided Desiree with a few new hashtags; #theperfectbachelorette, #marriagematerial, and #letthedreambegin. Mikey, a 30-year-old man who still calls himself, Mikey, and Jonathan who not only appeared to be high, but then proceeded to give “The Bachelorette” the signature room key for the fantasy suite that is reserved for the overnight dates, the shirtless “Ab Man,” Zak W., stepping out of the limo flexing his six-pack, Larry, the ER doctor who cannot dance, Nick R. the magic man trying to trick Desiree into falling in love and Diogo arriving as her knight in shining armor. However, theatrics and magic failed with most of the above getting sent home except for Mikey, Brad, Kasey and Zak W.
After countless attempts at trying to wrangle a kiss from Desiree alone in a dark corner, Jonathan was asked to leave before the final rose ceremony, as the creepiest bachelor to ever emerge from the show was kicked off early. She set the standard of how she expects to be treated on “The Bachelorette.”
Clearly Desiree thought Brooks was hot, blushing when they first met and ogling him as he walked away as well as Juan Pablo, “a dream of a man” whose name ‘The Bachelorette” found difficult to pronounce. However, looks weren’t the only thing Hartsock was after, handing out roses freely as the night wore on to those who touched her heart.
But the cutest bachelor to emerge from the parade was Broden, Ben’s 4-year-old son who clearly impressed Desiree, melting “The Bachelorette’s” heart and getting the first rose of the night because he is “husband material.” All’s fair in love and war and the bachelors have begun the battle.
“The Bachelorette” with Desiree Hartsock airs Monday evenings on ABC.
