Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S. They have been picketed, ticketed, fined, arrested, and sometimes bombed! But in the Texas Panhandle, Planned Parenthood is no more (Praise God!). As December 31, 2008, there are no longer any Planned Parenthood offices in the Texas panhandle. The 19 clinics that have been operating there, some since 1997 have been closed. STOPP INTERNATIONAL was instrumental in this effort.
Margaret Sanger (1883 – 1966) was the founder of Planned Parenthood under its originally Incorporated name of American Birth Control League in 1921. Then, in 1942 the organization changed its name to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. Since then, it has grown to nearly (perhaps more) 1000 clinic locations in the United States, with a total budget of about $1 billion, and provides an array of services to over three million people of which the most requested is abortion information.
Margaret Sanger was a prolific writer who wrote on subjects of birth control, eugenics and even marriage and sex in marriage. She was editor of “Birth Control Review” from 1917-1938. She stated that her sole purpose in life was to promote birth control (abortion). She supported the idea of “mandatory sterilization of the poor”, and was keen on eliminating “bad stock” from society. The more I studied Margaret Sanger the more she sounded like a Hitler clone.
Below are some quotes from Margaret Sanger. They will give you a much better view of Planned Parenthood and the vile resource they have become for women. In my opinion, Planned Parenthood is a murderer of the unborn.
On the purpose of birth control:
The purpose in promoting birth control was “to create a race of thoroughbreds,” Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 p.2
On respecting the rights of the mentally ill:
In her “Plan for Peace,” Sanger outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed “feebleminded.” Among the steps included in her evil scheme were immigration restrictions; compulsory sterilization; segregation to a lifetime of farm work; etc. Birth Control Review, April 1932, p.107
On adultery:A woman’s physical satisfaction was more important than any marriage vow, Birth Control in America, p.11
“I cannot refrain from saying that women must come to recognize there is some function of womanhood other than being a child-bearing machine.” What Every Girl Should Know, by Margaret Sanger (Max Maisel, Publisher, 1915) [ Jesus said: “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep… for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed (happy) are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the breasts which never gave suck.” (Luke 23:24)]
“The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)
On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
“…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning… human beings who never should have been born.” Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial “purification,” couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.
Perhaps this gives you a better idea of why Planned Parenthood is so despised by Christians all over the world.
