Diddy was reported to have been stopped by the Los Angeles police department at gunpoint according to TMZ reports on Wednesday, May 15.
The huge commotion started outside the Soho House, a exclusive West Hollywood private club. Diddy’s bodyguard and and unnamed person dropped the singer off and proceeded to drive away in Combs’ $500,000 Maybach when the car was immediately stopped by armed police officers just a couple odd miles from the club.
The reason behind the unsuspected police stop was due to someone calling in a 911 report claiming that someone inside had a gun. Nine Los Angeles police units were dispatched to the scene, all pulling their guns from their holsters ordering that the occupants of Diddy’s Maybach exit the car and lie on the ground.
The police officers searched the occupants and the car finding no guns, before reopening the street that that been temporarily closed down due to the 911 emergency call, and sending Diddy’s driver on his merry way.
We’re told someone called 911 and said someone inside the Maybach had a gun. At least 9 squad cars roared to the scene. Cops pulled their guns and ordered the occupants of the Maybach out of the car and made them lie prone on the ground, until they discovered there weren’t any guns.
The street was closed down temporarily until deputies gave the all-clear.
