AT&T has several 30-second commercials advertising their newest smartphone. However, before you are aware of what is being advertised, you are drawn into a conversation with a group of kids sitting around which an adult asking what seems to be a logical question that receives a funny but not too logical answer.
The one that cracks this writer up every single time is the one where the question is: “What works better: saving a bunch or not saving at all?”
All the kids said saving a bunch would be better. Then the question was asked, “What would you buy with all that money you’ve save?”
A little girl immediately speaks up and says she would buy a change-a-machine. The man asks why, and she says: “So I can change my little brother into a puppy.”
The man then asks, “Couldn’t you just buy an actual puppy.” Then the little girl says, “No, I could take my brother to show and tell and say, ‘Hey look everybody, this is my puppy brother.'”
Then the man concludes, “When you say it like that, it makes perfect sense.”
Just as funny is the expression on another little girl’s face as the commercial ends.
If you haven’t seen the commercial, watch it on the left and laugh as hard as this writer does whenever she sees it.
By the way, do you have a “puppy brother”?
