You already earned basic skills of floral arrangements and have been engaged in flower designing for a pretty long period of time for hobby or business. In the past several years you have not been getting any advices or have not been taking any lessons. Do you feel you have not made any progress or improvements recently in floral designing skills ? Do you feel bored with your flower arrangements ? Or are you looking for something new or exciting in floral arranging ?
If your answer is “Yes”, it may be time for you to expand the portfolio of your floral designs by learning a higher level of decorations or brush up on your skills. If your answer is “No”, that is fine. You are now satisfied with your current flower arranging ability and you do not feel like making further progress or improvements on your floral design skills. Therefore it is not necessary to take any special actions for improving the situation.
For those who feel a little bit bored with your current designs or would like to do arrangements that are new, more value-added or creative, it is worthwhile to resume learning floral designs by taking lessons from a reliable instructor.
If the highest level of course you already completed at the school you learned floral designs is a basic or elementary course, there must be a higher level of program such as intermediate or advanced course or any other program designed for people who already earned basic skills. If you actually find such course, it may be a good idea to join one of programs such as intermediate (or advanced) course so you can continue learning flower arrangements.
Usually intermediate or advanced course is offered for those who have sufficient experiences in floral designs or already learned flower arranging. You MAY be able to sign up for such higher level of course even if your arranging skill or experience is not enough for you to qualify to join such higher level of program. However it is highly recommended for you to join such course after you fully experienced a basic level of flower designs. Otherwise you may face difficult situation for digesting a curriculum of newly joining course.
The advantage and merit you may enjoy by joining such higher level of course is you can find new designs which you have never tried before and you can be surrounded by other students whose skill is much higher than elementary level of students. This kind of new environment usually provides good stimulation and motivation for you to be more enthusiastic in earning better skills.
Through learning new type of designs, you can learn new concept which makes another type of arrangement.
