Mike Laidlaw has provided a statement in regards to a potential reveal of “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition” at this year’s GamesCom event. According to a report by the Bioware Social Network on July 30, a fan asked if Bioware will be showing something from the open-world action role-playing game during the conference.
Mike Laidlaw responded by saying that it is “possible” although he is unsure of what they are planning for GamesCom. He also disclosed that he has been busy working on the project. You can take a look at his comments below (courtesy of the Bioware Social Network):
It’s possible, but I’m not entirely sure what the plan is. I’m a bit heads-down with the game itself at the moment.
“Dragon Age 3: Inquisition” was officially announced in 2012. However, it wasn’t until this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo that Bioware provided any concrete details on the project. GamesCom is the biggest gaming convention of the year based on the attendance numbers. It would be taking place Aug. 21 to Aug. 25 in Cologne, Germany.
The aforesaid Mike Laidlaw is the creative director behind the “Dragon Age” franchise. He and his colleagues at the Montreal branch of Bioware are developing “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition” with an expected release date set for the autumn season of 2014.
