Prom is often are very first real formal event and definitely the last big event of our high school careers. It’s an opportunity to say goodbye to friend that we may not see for a while and an opportunity to shine like a star. Prom is a night of celebration, so why not step out of your comfort zone and celebrate with the sexiest, prettiest looks straight from the runway?

Seeing Red! – 2012 brought us a return to the sexy red lip and a nod to the glam of Marilyn Monroe. Guess what? Bold, red lips are a beauty trend that’s still going strong for S/S 2013! While some may cringe at red lipstick, with the right guidance it is such an achievable, gorgeous look. Romantic Smokey Eye – 2012 saw a break away from the conventional bold smokey eye and brought us the subtle “romantic smokey eye.” The runways for Spring/Summer 2013 were filled with models stomping down the catwalk with this look. Bold Lip with Subtle Eye – This look was featured in “Makeup palette preview” and is glamorous, pretty and easily achieved. Step outside your comfort zone and check out the richest red that you can find. Pair it up with a barely there shadow and bam, you have one the hottest looks for prom 2013! You can also go for the reverse with a strong pop of color like 2013’s hottest, emerald, paired with a subtle lip.
Sparkle Like Champagne – Glitter is gauche, but sparkle is spectacular! No matter how you decide to style your tresses for your prom, you can up the sexy with a little Alterna Caviar Glitterati Sparkling Champagne Spray!
