You don’t have to be a connoisseur of fine wine or gourmet food to be in for a treat that will delight your senses at the 8th annual Cleveland Wine Festival (sponsored by Giant Eagle) to be held at Voinovich Bicentennial Park along the shores of Lake Erie on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15.
Cleveland Wine Festival More than 300 international, domestic and Ohio wines will be available for tasting and a variety of food from Northeast Ohio restaurants and establishments will abound at the Festival. The Best of Belgium Tour presented by Stella Artois featuring Belgian beers (Leffe Blonde, Leffe Brune and Hoegaarden and of course, Stella Artois) is back by popular demand.
Other activities at the Cleveland Wine Festival include food and wine seminars and cooking demonstrations (conducted by Cleveland area chefs, restauranteurs and caterers). Visitors will be able to sample wine from around the world and they will be able to purchase some signature dishes from the area’s best restaurants.
Live musical entertainment will be showcased throughout the 2-day event.
Advance adult wine tasting tickets are $29 in advance and $35 at the gate. The admission includes a souvenir wine glass, ten wine tastings, the cooking demonstrations, the food and wine seminars, a Festival program, all musical entertainment and the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount price.
Designated Driver tickets are $10 in advance or at the door. Admission include two non-alcoholic drinks instead of the wine tastings plus all the adult price amenities. Visitors under the age of 21 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased at the Festival.
Hours for the Cleveland Wine Festival are 4 p.m.- 10 p.m. on Friday, June 14 and 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
