“EDEN really strives to bring a diverse group of women together every year. We are especially invested in making sure our performers reflect that diversity. I am very proud of the lineup we have this year and with the additions of Kandi Cole, Tragik and Zulu Nasty I think we have a fabulous lineup, something for everyone!” , said Christine De La Rosa, founder and producer of EDEN Pride Events.
As EDEN guests in the past, Cole and Lady Tragik are thrilled to be a part of entertaining the women’s party’s guest for the first time this year.
“It was like three parties going on at the same damn time! …and they were all crackin,” said Cole, about EDEN’s Friday Block Party.
Lady Tragik agreed. Both entertainers said they are excited about this year’s EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco.
“I’m excited! EDEN is always MAJOR. Packed wall-to-wall. I can’t wait!” said Cole. “I’ll definitely be digging into my bag of tricks to make it fresh,” she said about her performance, where she might introduce EDEN guests to her most recent project “Due Diligence” that’s available at KandiCole.com.
A Los Angeles native, Kandi, an emcee, entertainer and writer was raised on the golden age of hip-hop and rap. Her parents fed her funk, jazz and soul giving her a solid musical and poetic foundation.
Lady Tragik is also excited to be back in her hometown, San Francisco.
“I am very glad to be a part of such an amazing night,” said Lady Tragik. “San Francisco is my home town, so it feels great to be back for Pride celebrating with the Bay!”
The Argentina born entertainer immigrated with her family to the City by the Bay when she was a child. Since then the 24-year-old artist has traveled the U.S. performing her unique dance, electropop, hip-hop, Latin style music as well as taking up photography and film work.
