When Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the creators of “Glee” and “Nip/Tuck,” premiered “American Horror Story” in October of 2011, peopled with big name actors like Dylan McDermott and Jessica Lange, no one paid much attention to mixed-up teen Tate. At first, that is. But by the end of the second episode, when Tate saves Violet (Taissa Farmiga) from intruders, everyone started asking, who is this kid? Who is Evan Peters? Find out this week in this column’s 8 part series on the handsome lad.
Now, after two seasons of “AHS,” Peters is the only male actor whose return has been confirmed for the show’s third season, Coven, set to begin filming this summer and to air in October. Also appearing in Coven will be show newcomers Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone and returning actresses Lange, Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson and Frances Conroy.
Now, after two seasons of “AHS,” Peters has as big a fan base, if not bigger, than any of his show co-stars.
Over the next week, this column will bring readers the skinny on Peters, from his family, his start in acting, acting credits, recent and upcoming projects, including “AHS,” romantic relationships, hobbies, and even some of his personal favorites. This week’s articles will include slideshows with pics of Peters from movie posters and media events, links to videos featuring Peters created by Tyler Shields and Davis Factor, and some incredible fan art, with tomorrow’s story covering Peters extensive acting credits prior to “AHS.”
