A family of 4 killed in a deadly car crash this weekend is trending across national news headlines, as the Denver Post reported this May 28, 2013, that while the cause of the accident is unknown, it resulted in the SUV falling into a nearby canal.
The family of 4 killed in a traffic accident story took place in George, Wash, with the deaths of two adults and two young girls, a 4-year-old and a 9-year-old. According to the report, it seems that the SUV hit into another car, slamming into a guardrail and finally then falling over into the canal below.
The SUV and the family of 4 killed were then swiftly pulled down with the current for 300 feet along the irrigation canal.
Oregon Live also reported that while details on this story are still coming in, it appears that the two adults were killed on the scene of the deadly car crash, while the two daughters died some time later after being rushed to Quincy Valley Medical Center.
This is certainly one tragic story that once again brings to light the frailty of life, the importance of safe driving, and — regardless of whether texting or influenced driving was involved — the value of staying alert and defensive while on the road.
