Boxing’s pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (43-0, 26 KO) puts his WBC Welterweight Title on the line this evening against interim WBC Welterweight champ Robert Guerrero (31-1-1, 18 KO) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The vacant Ring Welterweight Title is also on the line.
Tonight’s action will broadcast live on Showtime Pay-Per-View starting at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT), with the Mayweather-Guerrero main event expected to begin sometime between 11 p.m. – 12 a.m. ET (8 – 9 p.m. PT). We will be providing LIVE results and play-by-play commentary for the Mayweather vs. Guerrero fight right here.
Will the seemingly invincible Floyd “Money” Mayweather finally meet his match? He’s the heavy favorite with odds sitting at about -625 for Mayweather and +425 for Guerrero. But at 30-years-old, Guerrero is six years younger than the aging champ and his only defeat was a split decision loss way back in 2005.
Guerrero is coming off a unanimous decision win over Andre Berto (28-2) this past November. Mayweather hasn’t fought since winning a decision over Miguel Cotto (37-4) in May 2012.
