May is “Get Fit” month and the Phoenix Healthy Food Examiner is featuring a special guest contributor in this week’s column.
Welcome fitness trainer and nutrition expert Franklin Antoian. Antoian is the founder of Franklin’s iBodyFit.com and was named Shape Magazine’s top 50 hottest trainers.
Franklin’s iBodyFit.com is a wellness website that offers members professional fitness tips, individualized custom fitness programs, professional workout videos and online exercise classes.
The team of fitness trainers at iBodyFit.com helped thousands of members achieve their overall fitness and nutrition goals.
Antoian’s inspiration for creating iBodyFit.com was to expand the needs of fitness and nutrition services for clients internationally and nationwide.
Antoian is originally from New York and currently resides in the Florida area. Antoian is a huge fan of surfing, enjoys kayaking, and other outdoor activities.
“I have lived in the Florida area for 15 years. I started iBodyFit as a way to stay in touch with my clients who traveled quite often. After a short while, I realized that almost everyone could benefit from online fitness training and that I could work with clients from around the world with iBodyFit.com,” says Antoian.
Antoian is currently working with clients internationally and nationwide. Phoenix Healthy Food Examiner, Tiffani Maynor, contacted the fitness expert earlier last week to share an energizing smoothie recipe with the Arizona community.
All of the ingredients Antoian uses to make his delicious smoothies are all natural, energizing, and loaded with antioxidants.
Franklin Antoian’s Energizing Smoothie
1 cup almond or soymilk
1 scoop peanut butter
1/4 cup of chocolate Ovaltine brand protein powder
1/2 cup of ice
1. Blend in ice and almond milk.
2. Scoop peanut butter into mixed contents and blend all ingredients together.
3. Cut banana in quarters; add to the blender with chocolate protein powder
4. Serve chilled with Greek yogurt on the side for a healthy filling breakfast
Use any brand of chocolate protein powder. Ovaltine chocolate beverage mix is a great source of iron. Kids will enjoy the flavor of this smoothie too.
Use any kind of fruit; strawberries, blueberries, peaches, apricots, dark cherries or apples.
The Phoenix Healthy Food Examiner would like to thank Franklin Antoian and iBodyFit.com for contributing present and future health food tips with the Arizona community.
