The last few weeks have been big for “General Hospital” fans. Roger Howarth’s character was revealed, and that was the beginning of another huge story line for the show. With Franco back in town, there are plenty of angry people waiting in line to see that justice is served where he is concerned. When Shawn isn’t able to carry out the hit that Sonny ordered on Franco, Carly takes matters in to her own hands. According to an article published June 8 by Enstarz, Carly’s plan to take Franco out is going to cause a lot of hurt in Port Charles, including a major character being shot. The question now is, who will be paying the price for Carly’s overzealous move?
There are some speculations that one of the Falconeri girls will be shot when Carly tricks Shawn in to believing that Sonny is the one who planned everything. Carly concocts a plan that involves inviting Franco over to the Metro Court for a meeting, which is where she will have Shawn waiting to take the shot. Everything gets complicated when Connie and Olivia show up to celebrate a birthday. Sonny appears at the Metro Court bringing well-wishes for the birthday girl.
Connie has already been shot once, and it would make sense for it to happen a second time because of something with Sonny. After getting integrated for her DID, will this traumatic event bring back the split personality? Olivia is the mother of Sonny’s son, Dante. If something happened to her because of Sonny, Dante would never forgive his father, which may be the direction the show is heading in. Either way, this is going to be messy for Carly. What will happen when everyone finds out that she tricked Shawn? Will she feel Sonny’s wrath?
The events will begin to unfold on Monday, June 10. You can catch all new episodes of “General Hospital” weekdays on ABC at 1 p.m. CST. If you miss the original airing, you can catch a same-day airing on SOAPNet at 8 p.m. CST.
