“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gretchen Rossi may put on a smiling face while filming the show, but behind closed doors, things may not be as easy. Fans haven’t seen much footage of Slade interacting with his sick son, so it sounds like he isn’t doing much. However, Gretchen is now revealing that they were indeed testing throughout Grayson’s illness and that she wasn’t all about starting her own family. According to a new Bravo blog released on May 7, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gretchen Rossi is now revealing that their relationship has been tested because of their desire to have a family and dealing with Slade’s sick son.
“First off it’s important to me to say thank you very much for all the kind messages of love, compassion, and heartfelt prayers regarding Slade’s son Grayson. It truly was a very scary time for us, as we were not sure if Grayson was going to wake up from his sixteenth major brain surgery he had back in October. It was a very sad time for the whole family,” Gretchen revealed in her blog. “As you can imagine it was a stressful, and difficult time for Slade personally, for me personally, and for us as a couple. It truly challenged us in ways we hadn’t been tested before. We had a lot of sad moments of tears, fear, frustration, and anger. Even though we actually were apart for a lot of those five months (Grayson was out in New York) it actually made our relationship even stronger. It was during those months that I realized that this man was the kind of man I wanted to have forever by my side.”
It sounds like she is explaining that she wants people to understand that she has been tested in her relationship and that things aren’t always positive.
