As of 6 a.m. on May 31, 2013, the Guilford County Detention Centers housed 905 inmates. This is 100 more than the number of inmates that all of the detention centers are rated for. All of the detention centers together are rated for a maximum of 805 inmates. The detention centers are the Greensboro Jail, the High Point Jail and the Prison Farm.
Sheriff B. J. Barnes is in charge of operations of the Guilford County Detention Centers.
