Gulf Shores, AL (May 6, 2013)- The Hangout Music Fest has announced the schedule for their highly anticipated Thursday Kick-Off Party on May 16. Two stages will host 14 acts at the Hangout site, with the action beginning at 2 p.m. and wrapping at 11 p.m.* Tickets for the Thursday Kick-Off Party are on sale now at http://hangoutkickoffparty.eventbrite.com/ and are $45, or just $20 for those who have already purchased three-day passes. The Kick-Off Party is complimentary for VIP, Super VIP and Big Kahuna pass holders.

The Boom Boom Tent: Umphrey’s McGee, Railroad Earth, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Hayes Carll, Reptar, and St. Paul and The Broken Bones
The Letting Go stage: Benny Benassi, Dillon Francis, LOTUS, Conspirator, Quixotic, Wick-it the Instigator, and Future Rock.
Later this week, MTV/VH1/CMT will announce the two talented up-and-coming artists that have been crowd-sourced to play Hangout Music Fest. These bands were selected by fan voting and an internal committee via MTV/VH1/CMT’s artist platform (Artists.MTV, Artists.VH1, Artists.CMT). One act will play the Thursday Kick-Off Party, while the second will be awarded a Saturday festival slot.
The Hangout Music Fest recently announced the offer of a limited quantity of single-day General Admission tickets for the festival, courtesy of AL.com and Brett-Robinson vacation rentals. In addition to full weekend passes, fans will now be able to purchase tickets for any one of the three action-packed days. Single-day General Admission tickets for May 17, 18 and 19 are on sale now for $89 per day at http://hangoutsingleday.eventbrite.com/#.
