Who doesn’t hate long lines at the theme parks? They’re unavoidable at certain times of year, although you can minimize them with things like Fastpasses at Disney World or paid express options at the other parks. But if you want a full VIP experience and have a little extra money to burn, these options make sure you’re pampered throughout the day:
Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure VIP Tours: This was how I always saw the parks before I moved down to Florida. As a tourist, I had limited time and wanted to make sure I saw all the major attractions. You can do it, too, starting at $229 per person for one park or $249 for both.
For the price, you go on a group tour lasting five hours for one park or seven for both, hitting at least eight major rides and attractions. Your guide shares facts and trivia along the way, so you get a more in-depth look at the parks than you would simply by using Express. If you’re a Halloween Horror Nights fan, VIP tours are available for that event, too.
Walt Disney World VIP Tours: If you don’t want to worry about grabbing Fastpasses, hire a Disney guide for your group who knows all the tricks to minimizing waits and getting good viewing spots for the parades and shows. You pay an hourly rate for your private group of up to ten people, starting at $315 per hour (more on holidays or if you’re not a resort guide). You can split your time between more than one park if you wish.
SeaWorld Orlando VIP Tours: It can be a challenge to catch all the shows at SeaWorld Orlando, but you don’t have to worry about planning your times if you do the six-hour VIP group tour. It lets you hit the three main shows and also includes animal feedings and express access to the rides, including Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, before and after your tour. It even includes the all-day dining deal. The price starts at $99 for adults and $79 for kids.
Legoland Florida VIP Tours: Legoland Florida offers VIP tours that not only allow your private group to skip lines for the rides, but also to get a personal peek inside the Model Shop and meet a Master Builder. This makes it perfect for hardcore Lego fans who want to go behind the scenes. The tour also includes a gift bag, photos, and reserved seating for a nice lunch meal. Prices start at $495 for adults and $445 for kids, and you can add VIP treatment at the water park (including a cabana) for an additional cost.
Busch Gardens Tampa VIP Tours: Busch Gardens Tampa is packed with thrill rides. You can buy Quick Queue to shorten your waits, but if you opt for the group Guided Adventure tour, you’ll be sure to hit all the major attractions and also get a fun animal experience. The five-hour tour is $99 for adults and $89 for kids, and it includes a safari that takes you out onto the Serengeti where you see wildlife close up and even get to feed a giraffe. The park also offers tours for its HowlOScream event, which include the houses, shows, and even alcoholic beverages for adults.
