NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series heads to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Friday through Sunday, June 14th through 16th. Also on the schedule for this weekend at Michigan are the Nationwide Series and the ARCA Racing Series.
Whether you’re a new fan to the sport, attending your first NASCAR race or you’re a veteran of numerous races and tracks, check out Michigan’s new MIS Welcome Center in the New Holland Fan Plaza. The Welcome Center will feature interactive and informative exhibits like the pit stop challenge, as well as a full-scale mock pit, complete with gas cans, tires and more, and a full cutaway of a tire to show you the ins and outs of the Goodyear racing tire. Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman are among the drivers appearing in the Budweiser Acceleration Club during the racing weekend. The Acceleration Club is an all-inclusive fan hospitality club located in the Fan Plaza, and fans can upgrade their tickets on Saturday and/or Sunday to include pre-race pit and paddock access, Acceleration Club lanyard and credential holder, continental breakfast and catered lunch, unlimited water and Coca-Cola products, two drink tickets per guest (Budweiser products and wine) or six per guest for groups of 10, post-race snack (Sunday only), entertainment, company name displayed on reserved table (when purchasing table of 10 package), event gifts and Lot 3 parking pass. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday, June 14th, with ARCA qualifying at 10 a.m. ET. The Cup Series practices at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the Nationwide Series at 1:10 p.m. ET; the Cup Series qualifies at 3:35 p.m. ET, and the ARCA Racing Series race goes green at 5:15 p.m. ET. Gates open on Saturday, June 15th at 9 a.m. ET, with Cup Series practices at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET. Nationwide Series qualifying gets underway at 10:35 a.m. ET, followed by the Alliance Truck Parts 250 for the series at 2:15 p.m. ET. Gates open at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday, with the Quicken Loans 400 going green at 1 p.m. ET.
