Once power hungry men get a taste of power it is as if a demon is released within them that knows no bounds. Presidents break the law, claiming they are above it. Elected representatives claim the laws they pass for the electorate as a whole do not apply to them. Supreme Court justices make up laws out of thin air.
And this is only the beginning. The government begins to spy on citizens who are not suspected of crimes nor charged with any wrongdoing, in clear violation of the Constitution. That same government targets political groups for harassment and delays merely because they oppose the current “ruling class.” Foreign diplomats are killed in cold blood due to the ineptitude and/or malevolent devices of public servants who then exclaim, “What difference does it make?” Members of the press are attacked and harassed by an administration that is raging out of control.
This, however, is not even the beginning of the worst of the government’s offenses. According to Brandon Smith of Alt-Market.com, government tyrants will use whatever means necessary to destroy those who are willing sacrifice their all to uphold liberty just as our Founders were willing to do.
“Whatever means necessary.” The country is already witnessing the extensive, intricate plan of tyrants to destroy liberty-minded citizens. But it can and will get much worse unless the citizens stop it.
According to Smith, government tyrants implement an eight-point strategy to gain the upper hand over their opponents and squash any vestige of citizen resistance.
In the first place, government tyrants and their lackeys attempt to frame the innocent. The most recent example involves an effort to frame the founder of Oath Keepers and a close associate for having child porn on their computers. Had it not been for the fact that the would-be victims are smart enough to notice the signs of fraud, they would probably be in jail as we speak.
Next, the leviathans tend to go after “low hanging fruit,” that is, those who are most vulnerable. This includes those who may be nominally involved in the liberty movement, those who remain on the periphery and who therefore are not aware of the tactics of the tyrants. In this instance, the leviathan poses as someone who wishes to befriend a patriot but immediately begins to ask leading questions. If the patriot inadvertently answers a question in an incriminating way, they can be arrested.
Another method is what Smith refers to as “image destruction,” that is, attempting to tarnish the reputation or image of members of the liberty movement by highlighting their faults. Exaggeration is often used to that end, including taking past incidents out of context and twisting events to portray a person in a manner that is inconsistent with the truth.
Further, the government tyrants are not above planting evidence in order to make sure patriots are sent to jail. This tactic happens on the local, state, and federal level. Corruption is rampant in the criminal justice system at present in America. Corrupt judges, state’s attorneys, detectives, and police officers are a deadly infection afflicting the judicial branch of government, placing each individual citizens at risk if they merely run afoul of the prevailing philosophical/ideological bias of the system.
Yet another tactic of the leviathans is that of making what is legal look illegal. A common target for this tactic is the government’s war on the gun rights of citizens. Images of dangerous-looking weapons, often incorrectly referred to as “military grade,” are shown by government agencies to the news media, which then disseminates the images without question. But the problem is that more often than not, the so-called “military grade weapons” are not military grade. Nor are they illegal. And citizen militias are not illegal, either. Yet often they are portrayed as such in the media.
Smith goes further to describe false flag operations that are used against citizens, particularly gun owners. Incidents involving injuries and death are often coupled with stories about how gun owners went “berserk” or some such description, all in an attempt to make citizens think that merely stepping outside their homes places their lives in mortal danger from the gunfire perpetrated by the crazed gun owners who live in their communities.
And as these tactics progress and the tyrants become more and more desperate, Smith says that a penultimate tactic is employed to “sweep up” members of the liberty movement, hauling them off to prison, often in the middle of the night. Coordinated raids are conducted over a broad area of the country, and citizens simply disappear into the night, in the custody of the tyrants. This is not the fanciful paranoia of the fearful. These things have been common throughout the 20th and 21st centuries by dictators, the Communist Party, and extremist Islamic Sharia nations. Hitler was infamous for using this very tactic.
Finally, Smith contends that in order for the tyrants to hold sway in the court of public opinion, they must confuse the difference between the good guys and the bad guys, and indeed move toward defining that which is good as bad and that which is bad as good. This has been going on for years in America. Pro-life citizens are most often portrayed on TV and in movies as psychotic mass murderers who are obsessed with religion. Conservatives are routinely portrayed as “mean-spirited.” Yet those who support the slaughter of unborn babies are referred to as ultimately compassionate, and those who support keeping the poor forever dependent on government, in an infantile state where they never mature emotionally, are called “great humanitarians.”
In many ways the liberty movement is way behind in responding to these most troubling circumstances. Much must be done to catch up and gain the upper hand.
