If you do not know it, the first number is the width or length and the second one is the height or how tall it is. The general rule of thumb is that the longest length cannot exceed 150. Not set in stone but many places use it as the standard. A Vignette is a word used to describe an image smaller than the original and larger than a thumbnail. It can be no more than 250 on its longest side. So as you see even the standard size on Pinterest is bigger than a Vignette. There are many photos on there that exceed the cover image they use. And they put large copies on their servers to keep. The other part is the commentary.

The issue is about how or when to take matters to the highest levels in a claim. I have preached tolerance and fair mindedness in all my articles. Well just like the infringers who will say there are exceptions it may be time for one. I got some information concerning an infringer that not only took my work and posted it but took my work files and kept them. They were supposed to be used to help fund a nonprofit for kids and the disabled. The information I was given is that they are being withheld to keep that from happening. Now I do preach fairness so this is just an anonymous person making a few statements quote in the dark to hide. Does not make them false but does not make them true. The general idea has been be fair and be reasonable but in reality as it was pointed out to me many times in the last couple of days, they were not fair, reasonable caring about anything but what they want. Good point. So I think that when it comes time to file a claim in federal court it should be for the maximum allowed by law on all points and file whatever else can be filed just to start. There is no reason not to do that unless they made or make an effort other than go ===== off. As they told me in the chat, they basically declared war on me and my work and it should be handled accordingly. Again though, you have to not over react or do a knee jerk reaction but there is no reason not to pursue your claim to the fullest unless they give you a reason not to do it. That means all options should be explored, civil and criminal and if it goes to a court date, pursue all of them. That is one reason for the invoicing; if they do not pay then they are telling you they want to go to court. In some ways I hope all the ones already invoiced do not pay and it will make things easier down the road. Take all of them to the limits and forget about being nice. I am beginning to see the logic in waiting on the larger infringements for almost the full time to be up. It gives them more time to have more money and assets. Not a bad thought in reality. The longer to file the more they can accumulate. That came from an attorney that was not very nice about things but it really comes down to whether you should even consider that to be a factor after a while. Her march through Georgia like Sherman attitude may be the only way to be during these things.
