Its the Irish invasion (as opposed to the famous British one) coming to Milford in the Ann Street Park!
On Sunday, August 4, Music in the Park will be presenting for its next to last concert in the summer concert series, two amazing Irish groups – Tara Minstrels and The Parting Glass.
Tara Minstrels, whom many residents will recognize and who have been playing together for 14 years, will start the show off with their incredibly rich Celtic repertoire. Then joining the party will be students from the Kenny Cavanaugh School of Irish Dance to perform traditional Irish whirls and jigs for your enjoyment. Finally, The Parting Glass will add their talents to the Tara Minstrels for a musical experience not to be missed.
Whether you’re Irish or not, this day of music and dancing will be a funfest for the whole family. Come, picnic, kick off your shoes and dance along with Tara Minstrels, The Parting Glass and the Kenney Cavanaugh School!
