Since 2012 her image has been seen gracing the billboards and now she continues to embody this timeless spirit in her new ‘Manifesto’ fragrance campaign.
In her second campaign with Yves Saint Laurent, the stunning redhead shows off her feminine and masculine side with shots that were taken by photographer Max Vadukul, famous for his portrait photography that has been seen on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and The New Yorker as well as portraiture of strong aggressive women and dressed in Hedi Slimane who is the current creative director of Yves Saint Laurent.
According to Stephen Bezy, general manager of Yves Saint Laurent Beaute at L’Oreal Plus about Jessica Chastain in her first ad campaign to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), ‘She has the luminosity, charm, grace and power – and the audacity as well – to embody the fragrance. She’s really an Yves Saint Laurent woman.
The ‘Manifesto’ fragrance with notes of black currant, bergamot, green notes, sambac jasmine, lily of the valley, cedar sandalwood, tanka bean and vanilla is meant to be spontaneous, free spirited and courageous; a scent full of passion and emotion.
