It’s been almost three years since I’ve last written about the sweet Jessica Irvine, the natural beauty with dual citizenship between Canada and the USA. A lot has changed in the world of this incredible real-life superwoman. Let’s take a moment to reflect on what Jessica has been up to since my last article on her in October 2010.
In my past article we got to meet Jessica, reflect on her acting career and see how she got her start. For those who may have missed it, there is a link to that article posted below. Now we’re going to see where her journey has taken her and see what a positive life she leads.
Back in 2010, Jessica and her fiancé Michael were living in Los Angeles. Michael is a model, personal trainer and gym owner. Since then, the pair made the decision to move to a more family friendly community out of California and into Texas, as they wanted a decent place to start and raise a family. In fact, just two short weeks before their move, Jessica found out she was pregnant. What a wonderful blessing that was.
Jessica and Michael no longer had their network of friends, which socially, was difficult. However, for Jessica’s career, it was an easy transition. She is represented by Actors Clearinghouse and since the move to Austin, she has been more successful commercially. She’s booked five commercials including CPS Energy, Purina, ACE Hardware, Touchstone Energy and the most recent is Chuck E. Cheese’s, two industrials (Barton Creek Golf and Country Club and Multimedia Games) as well as three print jobs (Print to Canvas, which was seen in Martha Stewart’s Living; Parenting; Marie Claire, ACE Hardware and San Antonio Tourism, which will be seen world-wide). She’s also been in a short film called Interview with a Woman.
Jessica and Michael own a personal training studio which is run by appointment only. There are no fees to join, you just come to the studio and pay for your training sessions. The gym is Michael’s baby, as he is the personal trainer. You may check out their website www.powerperformancetraining.com.
Jessica and Michael fully intend to wed one day, however it’s not at the top of their priority list. They have been best friends for a long time, made the transition into a dynamic duo and incredible parents. Technically speaking, they are “married”, just without the piece of paper. Michael stuck to tradition and got permission to ask Jessica to marry him from her mother, father and stepfather, which keeps with Jessica’s need for old-fashioned traditions.
Twenty-two months ago, Jessica and Michael welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Devin, into this world. He is intelligent, sweet, full of personality and loves to be center of attention. Devin has already followed in the footsteps of his successful parents and booked two out of the three commercials he’s auditioned for. One commercial was for Dr. Smith’s Diaper Cream and the other was Huggies, in which he appears alongside his father.
Since giving birth to Devin it has really pushed Jessica even harder to become more successful in order to save for Devin’s future. She got into acting as it is her passion, not to become famous. She loves what she does and it clearly agrees with her.
Being a smart and savvy businesswoman, Jessica sure knows the path to success. She’s turned yet another passion in her life into a money-making opportunity by studying for her real estate licence. Her favorite television shows include House Hunters, Property Brothers, Love It or List It, you know, all of the HGTV line up. She recently became an agent with Resident Realty in the Westlake area of Austin. So, if you’re in the market for a home in Austin, feel free to contact Jessica at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Like many families, Jessica too, has had some struggles. She recently reconnected with her half-brother Paul, after seventeen years of searching. She says that Facebook has been amazing for helping her to connect with Paul. Paul and his wife recently spent some time in Texas with Jessica, Michael and Devin. Now they are waiting for September to arrive, as they will be meeting up yet again. This time the meeting will be for a wedding. Jessica is emotional as it will be the first time that she, her brother and dad will all be in the same room, along with her son and Paul’s two children.
Jessica is currently working on balancing her acting career, her budding real estate career, being a mom and a “wife”. She takes life one day at a time and her path seems to be unfolding beautifully in front of her. I wish Jessica and her family all the success and happiness in the world, as she really is a genuine good person with a big heart.
