In one of her craziest statements yet, Jodi Arias convicted killer of Travis Alexander, told the jury deciding her sentence that she should not be executed for her crimes. She could contribute to society by starting a prison recycling program. Not that starting a recycling program isn’t a great idea, because the planet needs all the help it can get. However, Ms. Arias needs to do a little bit more than start a recycling program if she is not sentenced to death.
In a trial that began Jan. 2, 2013 and wrapped up just two weeks ago, the jury and courtroom audience often heard crazy and bizarre statements from the 32-year-old former girlfriend of the murdered salesman and motivational speaker. Here are just a few of the weirdest.
“No jury is going to convict me …you can mark my words on that.”
“I want to donate my hair to Locks of Love.”
“(I felt like) a piece of toilet paper.”
“That is one of the things I am scared of — guns and] public speaking. That was one of the things [Travis Alexander] was trying to get me to do — get out of my comfort zone.”
“If I killed Travis, I would beg for the death penalty.”
“If I was going to ever try to kill somebody, I would use gloves. I have plenty of them.”
“I had issues with Travis [but] I had worse issues with other people and they’re all still alive.”
“I felt betrayed, actually, by the jury.”

The jury should choose to let Jodi live instead of sentencing her to death. She would start a prison recycling program and that would make everything all right. Wouldn’t it?
Jodi Arias claims that if the jury lets her live, she will contribute her hair to Locks of Love. Locks of Love uses donated hair to make wigs for children suffering from medical hair loss. Is some donated hair really a reason to let someone who is a murderer live?
Using gloves to commit a murder is what any person, like Jodi Arias or OJ Simpson would do. Everyone knows OJ didn’t do it because the gloves didn’t fit. Jodi didn’t kill Travis because there were no gloves involved. She has lots of gloves; she would have used them if she was going to kill Travis.
Poor Jodi says she felt like toilet paper after she committed certain sex acts with Travis. She would also be degraded if he tied her to a tree and committed the same sex acts, but she would like doing that.
Jodi felt betrayed by the jury because they didn’t believe her convoluted story of lies. They should have believed that she was completely defenseless when she stabbed Travis Alexander 27 times, shot him twice in the head and then slit his throat from one ear to the other.
