On Dec. 21, 2012, the Huffington Post re-posted an op-ed piece by John Kerry dated Aug. 31, 2009, in which he made some ludicrous claims about global warming. Kerry is a long time advocate for global warming, which is also called climate change.
We must understand that Kerry is not a scientist, and that many scientists say there is no such thing as global warming, as the government and John Kerry are trying to sell us. Let us remember that Kerry is a liberal Senator, and the Huffington Post is a liberal website.
We already know that there have been, and always will be natural changes in our climate. Sometimes these changes will be small and sometimes drastic. But, in his op-ed piece, he lamely attempts to tie global warming and 9-11 together and claims that it is just as dangerous to America as 9-11. Don’t we know who is really in control of our environment? It is certainly not man, and especially not John Kerry.
In 2009, in open letter to the United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki Moon, 141 Scientists state that the science behind anthropogenic global warming is anything but settled.
He also claims that Scientists tell us that we have a 10 year window or less in which to remedy the problem of global warming. That statement alone makes us wonder if Kerry has ever read about the Ice Age. The Ice Age was not caused by humans in that situation as there were few people and causes other than nature itself to cause it.
In his op-ed, he also says;
“The people of the tiny coastal village of Newtok, Alaska offer a harbinger of the challenges ahead. Citizens there recently voted to move their village nine miles inland because melting ice shelves made their old home too dangerous.”
In that case, we should look at the shoreline of all of America, and then we will find that because of what we know now about super storms like hurricane Katrina and Sandy, that we probably should have never allowed the building of communities so close to the ocean.
The Business Insider actually had a little fun with Kerry’s op-ed, and rightly so. Since Kerry is the most probable candidate to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. The Secretary of State, who ever they are will have immediate and influential access to the U.N. What better way to push your global warming agenda.
Global warming, to the logical person is nothing more than a Liberal politician’s way of selling you a bill of goods that are meaningless and ultimately a way to keep you under the government’s thumb. Watch out for Kerry and his environmental dreams and plans, when and if he does become Secretary of State.
