On June 5, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad celebrates Mimo Montano’s birthday with Speedwolf, Satan’s Satyrs, Torture Victim, Impaled Offering, and Deforme. Doors for this 21+ show are scheduled to open at 8 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 9:30 p.m. Entry is only $5 but is subject to change at the door.

Albuquerque’s Impaled Offering are an extreme death-metal band that combine other genres of metal into their core sound. Other genres include goregrind, blackened death, and old-school tech death. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Eternity Awaits.
Albuquerque’s Deforme play straight-up death metal with a dash of black metal. Expect old-school foundations with modern flair.
Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
