One of Kendall Jenner’s tweets turned into a Twitter feud with another young celebrity. According to a May 23 report by the Daily Mail, the reality show star has finally fired back after being labeled a “f**king idiot” by Frances Bean Cobain.
On Tuesday, Kendall tweeted this: “just wish things could be easier sometimes mann.” The young star has been blessed with a wealthy family and looks that have helped her make it as a model, so it’s probably hard for anyone to understand why she would ever be down in the dumps about anything.
Frances Bean Cobain definitely felt like Kendall Jenner was crazy for complaining, and she responded with a barrage of angry tweets. She wrote, “oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn’t accessible.” She continued, “oh ya, not to mention, CANCER, famine, poverty, draught, disease, natural disasters, Death. F–k, Humans are so self involved.” The daughter of punk rock royalty also labeled Kendall a “f**king idiot.”
However, Kendall doesn’t see any problem with what she wrote about wanting life to be easier. She waited two days to respond, which is probably because she had to consult her “momager” or her half-sister Kim Kardashian, who is definitely no stranger to Twitter scandals — she also recently got blasted by rocker Nikki Sixx. Kendall’s carefully-thought-out tweets read, “An individuals feelings are relative to their environment. you don’t know me, you don’t even know what I was referring to. I am aware that i am very privileged and blessed, and im thankful for that everyday, i know there are greater problems in the world. I pray for those people every night and give back as much as i can. so who are u to judge me?”
Kendall obviously wanted to get attention with her tweet about wanting things to be easier, but she was probably hoping to get comforted, not criticized. However, by sharing her vague complaint with millions on Twitter, she also opened herself up to criticism and speculation about what she was feeling down about.
Perhaps Kendall just has a hard time dealing with her crazy, attention-obsessed family. With a mother like Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain should know where Kendall Jenner is coming from, and surely Frances doesn’t spend all her time worrying about the woes of the rest of the world — since she’s human, she probably feels sorry for herself sometimes, too. However, perhaps celebrities shouldn’t cry about their woes publicly too much since it makes those who are less-privileged feel worse about their own troubles.
So are you Team Frances and think that Kendall should keep her pretty rich girl problems to herself, or are you Team Kendall and think that she was judged too harshly for expressing her feelings?
