Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers may contain an undeclared allergen, and a limited voluntary recall has been issued by Lightlife Foods in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The undeclared allergen in the Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers is milk, according to a report issued by PottMerc on May 30. The Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers included in the recall are packaged in a 12-ounce light blue bag. Each package has the Lightlife logo and a picture of the veggie burger product and contains four veggie burgers.
The Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burger product in question was shipped to food stores and distributors nationwide. Those with milk allergies or severe sensitivity to milk products are in danger of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if the veggie burgers are consumed. At this time no illnesses have been reported in connection to the Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers.
